Was talking health issues with my mother the other day and she mentioned that she takes Psyllium Husk for constipation and that it has made her regular.
As I suffer from that compliant myself from time to time and checked the internet for more information.
Anyway there is some 'evidence' that Psyllium Husk may help to lower blood glucose levels, LDL and a number of other things.
The only reference I could find on the forum to husk was from Mileana in September 2012 but not in this context.
Does anyone use husk? Might be worth trying and testing by the sounds of things.
