Hi
I am 25 years old & on an Accu chek spirit pump
I practically live in jeans & normally put the pump in a pocket, are there any decent pump cases out there?
I havbe looked on Accu chek website & see the clip ones which are alright but not that keen
Does anyone have any suggestions? or where else I could carry it?

Thanks

Hi,

You can get belly belts that are fabric and are fastened using velco, you get a fabric case for the pump which slip onto the belt but i find it can be quite bulky when just wearing a t-shirt or something well fitting.

You can also get pouches that hang off bras (i assume your female as your name is jess?)

I have a pump skin that i used to use but i also live in jeans and trousers and the material it was made of made it quite hard to get out my pocket as it was quite rubbery.

Some people make their own pouches and sew them into clothes.

Most of the time i just have mine in my pocket, i have the belly belt, two cases a pump skin and a material string that has a clip so you can hang it round your neck but i found that very odd and have never worn it.

Might be a good idea to talk to your pump nurse/rep see if they have any freebies.

Theres a thread somewhere where this has already been discussed. I'll try find the link for you :)

I've got several of the Accu Chek cases, 1 of the skins and verious kinds of phone or compact camera cases..

I tend to use the clear clip case 98%, 1% of the time (mainly when I doing agelity with the dogs) and 1% of the time a compact camer case that I can sercurly clip to my blet hoop on my jeans, if I'm out on rough terrian with the dogs!

But I would suggest looking at some of the different phone case on the market, just ensure that they don't have a magnetic closure give you more choice..

Hi..

I have tried most cases and found them uncomfortable.

But for me the best one is the elasticated spibelt.. I wear it around my hips and not through belt loops though. Lots of designs and even a special one for insulin pumps.

You need to order from the states but price is very reasonable and they don't take long to get here.
