Hi there I'm goin on pump therapy on Monday and need to put another prescription in I'm a type one , but do I carry on with my lantus injection twice a day or does the pump now cancel that one out??

No, the pump will do your basal.

However, you should keep lantus on your repeat so that you have access to the pens as a back up in case of pump malfunction.

Have you been given any guidance on what to do regarding your basal in preparation for Monday?

What are you expecting for Monday? Are you sure you are actually commencing the pump therapy on Monday? It's just, I'm a little shocked that someone could be starting a pump in 3 days and not have previously had it explained by the DSN setting them up on pump therapy that the pump will deliver the basal insulin.
