Hello

My wife, who has well managed Type 1, had a hypo last evening when we were out dining with friends. An ambulance was called because her hands turned purple/ blue. Has anyone else ever experienced this symptom with a hypo?

Many thanks

I'm pleased she's recovered well, must have been a scary experience for you all. Best wishes.

Raynaud's is a circulation problem that can cause hands to go very white then blue, has your wife been getting the blue fingers and hands before this as it may not be directly caused by her diabetes.
Hope your wife is recovered now from her hypo.
