Quite disappointed over the lack of healthy low carb snacks and treats at Holland&Barrett and Whole Foods until I came across QUEST bars. Has anyone had them? They are delicious and more importantly, only 7grams ber par! Only 3 or so grams which are active carbs. Every other "healthy" item in this category was at least upwards of 20-25g per bar.

Here's their website (US) - https://www.questnutrition.com/

Also I think Grenade killer is quite good too.

I prefer real, uncomplicated food. If the ingredients list has more than 5 items, I avoid it.

I’ve eaten the odd Quest bar and a few Atkins over the years, especially their coconut, bars, kit kat copies and mars copies. None of them affect my BS but it triggers my deeply ingrained food eating pattern addictions so I don’t anymore :-(

The Atkins bars made me want to puke. I’m sure it was the sugar alcohols.

Say like a piece of cheese? A few nuts? An egg? All travel well
The only thing I have in the house with more tha 2 ingred, 1 being sea salt is mayo and hot sauce.

Of course these bars aren't meant to be meal replacement solutions rather a simple treat or a snack in between meals. They are heavy, in the sense that they're thick and chewy so ideally you won't even finish the whole bar.
The 7g of carbs is for the Chocolate brownie flavour -
Total carbohydrate - 7g, of which sugars 0.9g, polyols 1g

I had lunch out again today and I thought of you as I was eating a deliciously creamy avocado salad.

Thanks I may investigate.
