Hello

I have just joined this forum. I am 50 with a neurological disability, a spinal injury from a non fault RTA and an enlarged but normal thyroid. I have blood tests annually for my thyroid and this year because I have a new GP (my previous GP having retired) the blood tests included blood sugar. When I got the results my new GP said that my blood sugar level on a non fasting blood test was 73. I am however confused as he didn't say if that was ml or mg. initial research on the internet suggests that he was quoting in mg. I found a page on Diabetes.co.uk that said that 73 mg is within normal non fasting blood sugar range. I just wondered if any other members could clarify that this figure of 73 relates to mg rather than ml.

With many thanks.

Regards

Harley
