Hi There

As the clocks go back at the weekend, am I right in saying that James needs to change the time on his pump and his handset will automatically correspond and it will be straighforward, if so what would be the best time to do this, as I was thinking after his supper and before bed?

Any help would be appreciated.

Yvonne

I'm on a Medtronic pump and contour meter but same theory I guess. I was planning on changing my pump time and my meter time a around 11am on Sunday. I'll be out of breakfast bolus slot and this slot is when my numbers are at their steadiest and basal rates flatest. I'm not sure if this is right though but it seems logical to me

mmmmmmmmm thanks Riri maybe night time would not be such a good time, but also James doesn't get up til 10.30 on Sunday morning, so maybe I should text his DSN to see what she suggests but thanks for your advice and also maybe someone using the same pump will come along with a suggestion as well

Some say change the time when the basal rates are at their lowest..... so for me this is from midnight.... Others dont do anything to altering the time until a few days later which is what I did on the last time change... slowly things sorted themselves out with the change in eating times....

Looking at James' basal profile his is at his lowest from midnight and maybe changing a few days later may work as well as James will be on half term for that week and things should be all sorted by the time he goes back to school. Thanks
