once on a pump can you revert back to insulin pens?

Hi saffie547, yes you can but it would be advisable to speak to your DSN before you do so, how come you want to go back on the pens if you don't mind my asking? Are you ok?

its not for me, my 7yr old son is insulin dependent and his DN has mentioned about going on one.

Oh right, I'm with you now, yes have a good chat with his DN about it, I was quite skeptical at first but I couldn't part from my pump now even when I get annoyed with it. I think they do a test with children and use saline just so that they get used to how the pump works and what it might be like to have. Like i said though have a good chat with everyone.
