I am been diagnosed since February,i take 500 mg of Metformin.Its was fine at the beginning ,I am now having this problem too,its always accompanied by severe stomach cramps.

As a T1 I cannot claim to know much about your meds, but I'v seen others writing about slow release metformin being beneficial and helping to reduce stomach problems.
