I started getting lumps everywhere on my body due to the excessive dosage and too many shots a day. So here is my schedule as planned by my doctor
1. Lantus- 30-30( I have to split it in two parts because of the lumps! So overall 60 units a day)
2. Actrapid 16-16(Morning and night)
3. Novorapid 18( Before lunch)
So now my doctor recommended me the i port device from medtronic which would basically lessen the pain of injecting 5 times a day. It's a needle that stay inside the body so my question is that I have to travel a lot everyday and in the middle of all the rush, would the needle cause any problem? Cause I don't want any bleeding or anything while I'm traveling through crowded places. I'm afraid of it breaking inside my body or something while I'm running probably..
I know many of you might suggest an insulin pump and yes I'm thinking about it but just for the moment, I am really stressed and I don't suddenly want to change my routine as it will affect my exams and general behaviour.
Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
