Questions! please help me understand

I do believe in what the OP is trying to achieve, however educating the diabetic population is a mammoth task, apps help but educating the diabetic masses is no easy task. I've done it for 27 years and still learning, the only thing to somehow drive home is continuous self monitoring and understanding how your body reacts to insulin/carbs etc.

The medical industry needs to do more to educate us especially those who are struggling and newbies who have limited knowledge. Like i say not an easy task.

Like Tim I believe that the best way to get answers would be to speak directly to a hospital team or go to a diabetic meeting which most hospitals or areas have.

I do believe education is key... But something is missing nowadays with care given or explanations.. So perhaps a gadget may help those persons?

To be honest I was always told as a kid that I had old head on young shoulders... But only really age and maturity has given me the fullest realisation of life and happenings etc.
Something is missing and if there was a quick gadget or anything to help the people that struggle I would welcome any survey questions to help along.

I had diabetes at age 5 before school at that time regular meals snacks a lot of Hypos and Comas at school, no one seemed to understand help apart from my mum.I was unable to recognise Hypos.often in hospital. It was frustrating and I just wanted to be normal.
Thank God for developments / that have taken place, when older went to Mdi which helped. Now using pump. Age 54 years. Good control.
