Hey all recently I have been experimenting with what I can safely eat for a snack without insulin and found that it is well below my dieticians estimate of 30 carbs. Just wondering what you all have found you can snack on without spiking BG too much.

Nuts, pork scratchings, peperami, cheese, spoonful of peanut butter, cured meet, celery and salt, couple of squares of 85% chocolate.

I dont know your insulin/carb ratio, but most people are around 1u/10g. If so you should aim for something less than 10g or whatever quantity of carbohydrate is less than 1u insulin.
