Excellent album Steve

My first Billy Joel album was The Stranger, always been a big fan of his and Piano Man is one of my favourite all-time songs.

Piano man is a huge song and one I hold quite dear.

My first ever West End audition, I sang Piano Man and was complemented on by the director for my choice of audition piece. Didnt get the part but certainly enjoyed singing it, such a great tune.

This Night is another one of his that I still enjoy singing to

A good belter from Bowie so long as its played loud through good speakers with plenty of base, and best of all with Carlos Alomar leading the backing group

I agree with the director that it was a great song choice. Look on Youtube and you'll find Billy Joel and Elton John singing Piano Man together.....a timeless classic!

ahh ok, have not seen the film

Seems a bit too much of a chickflick for me :?

watch out, there's a massive tearjerker moment in it...

as for music to cheer me up... anything off of the original Blues Brothers Movie soundtrack

'Delilah' and Tom Jones would be up there and also 'I don't feel like dancing' Scissor Sisters. My list is endless really - love my music and it's a real tonic.

Have you watched the Austrailian film Muriels Wedding? If not, you WILL love it, RRB

No, but I'll see if I can get it from Lovefilm. Is it based on ABBA music?
