Ramadan after two weeks

We have Ramadan After Two Week
I'm ask any advice about it
To indicate that we do not eat or drink anything from dawn to sunset

If you mean the imam, I do not think he has the ability to direct me well because this is something medical that has nothing to do with Imam
I also do not mean whether to fast or not. I just want to know the time of meals and what are the appropriate meals
 
when being ill a muslim doesn´t have to do the fasting, as far as I have been taught , isn´t that true ?

maybe you could do the food fasting , but keep drinking pure cold water during the day, then it would be a double win situation doing your diabetes good

I think it is from dawn to dusk that you fast, then you can eat normally.

I'm not a follower of any religion so any info I give might be inaccurate.
 
I think that choosing what to eat at iftar and the pre dawwn meal is crucial and potantially v difficult - balancing the amount of food, carb content etc at a celebratory time where (as I understand it but could well be wrong) there are also foods such as dates that have particular meanings but which arent good for many diabetics. The other important thing is testing how the meals eaten are affecting blood sugrs where possible
I do am not muslim so do not observe rammadan so my ability to advise is limited. My main suggestion would be to eat the foods you know from testing have a good impact on your sugars and in the amounts you know work for you then test more often during the day to see how your sugars are behaving and adjust as necessary
 
I'm not religious at all but I am type 2 and am on a high fat low carb diet and only eat an evening meal. By doing this I am now in remission with an hba1c of 34. So by observing your Ramadan tradition you might do yourself some good.
 
Please let us know how your period of fasting is going, what experiences are you seeing i.e. positives and negatives. There are quite a few members of the Islamic faith on the forum who would learn from you but we who are not of the same faith may benefit from the knowledge you gain in your endeavour.

We Muslims stop eating and drinking from dawn until sunset(nothing everything) No water No medicine No smoking

But there are some bad traditions that are not of religion but are traditions

For example, breakfast is very bad for most Muslims

There are smoking soft drinks, sweets, sugar pastries, almost everything

The fasting person does not benefit from anything, even though smoking is forbidden in Islam

Fasting is an education for the first and worship of God and health benefit

In the end, the majority of fasting people have destroyed any benefit from fasting because of malnutrition

There are diseases that do not prevent you from fasting, such as colds, and fasting is optional, not obligatory, because you are fasting as you know your health

Thank you for the statement. I believe that fasting is very important for a person, regardless of any religion
