To allow members to help you with your enquiry can you fill in your profile with if you have diabetes, if so what type and any medication you’re on please?

From this website: https://www.webmd.com/diet/raspberry-ketones-uses-risks
I would not take them as I have a COPD and also AFib, anything causing rapid heart rates are a big warning sign for me...

Raspberry ketone is not a naturally occuring product, it is an artificially made food flavoutring to give ready meals and medicines a raspberry taste. It is classed as a food additive and so is not subject to being required to have any safety monitoring or controls, No trials on humans have been carried out from what I can see, but some tests were done on mice. It is passed a Generally Accepted as Safe in the USA for daily amounts of less than 2 gm a day, However most Weight loss plans use much higher doses than this.

The Celebrity diet known s Raspberry Ketone has mostly faded from public gaze since it did not seem to be very effective anyway. Using a proper ketogenic diet could prove to be a better pathway to follow where the food is real and healthy, and the body does actually burn fat through dietary ketosis. There is a low carb section on this Forum, and also an ultra low calorie approach that has guidance and advice.

The use of raspberry ketone tablets as an aid to weight loss has been shown to be one more con!

The way that your HbA1c shows a steadily rising trend shows that you would probably benefit from changing your diet to a more diabetic friendly one. As a fellow T2D on Metformin, I found that for me popping pills was not that effective in controlling my blood sugars, but changing my diet has enabled me to have good control of my sugars and cut out most of my pills too. I personally use a low carb version of the Mediterranean diet, but I did use LCHF for a while before that.
