Hi All, Here is my beginner’s question: if I have an extra-low (for me) carb day (no bread, potatoes, etc etc, no fruit, no tomatoes, no alcohol), should I expect to see a reduced fbg reading next morning, compared to previous days’ fbg readings.
(I have been recently diagnosed as being pre-diabetic. I’m slim - bmi 20. 76 yrs.). Thanks.

For me it takes a few days of good eating to see a reduction in fbg.

But I also find my fbg fluctuates for no apparent reason at times, regardless of how good my eating has been.

Unfortunately it tends not to work like that.. my FBG"s can be all over the place depending on sleep quality, length of sleep and rarely ,so far as I can tell, what I ate the day before.
