Hi, I'm T1, diagnosed this January. After initial settling down my BGs have been good, predictable and reasonably controllable. The last 3 days I've had BGs up to 20 mid afternoon and late evening.I haven't had spikes at all, due to LCHF, and the libre.
Food hasn't changed, not unwell.
Wondering if I need to change ratios. Also not had to correct before but thinking I'm going to start.
Opinions please

Hi and welcome to the forum @Jodunlop . If your Blood sugars are going that high, then you do need to correct either your bolus ratios or your basal, but if you were only diagnosed in January, in my opinion it is best to get advice off your DSN/specialist, as you are possibly still in the honeymoon period, which will make it a little more difficult to predict. Others on here will be able to advise when you can start looking at basal testing, as this is the foundations for great control, but I was diagnosed 30 years ago, so have no idea how (or if) the honeymoon affects these things. What, how much and when are you taking insulin?
