Hi,
I LIVE IN FRANCE AND I LOOK AT DIABETES.CO.UK WEBSITE TO UNDERSTAND DIABETES, I WAS `DIET ONLY` FOR 8 YEARS BUT I AM NOW TAKING MEDICATION. MY NURSE DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH AND I DO NOT SPEAK VERY MUCH FRENCH BUT SHE HAS TOLD ME TO STOP DRINKING SLIMFAST, WHICH IS A SHAME AS I LIKE IT! MY NURSE ACTUALLY PHONES AN ENGLISH DIABETIC NURSE IN FRANCE SOMEWHERE AND LETS ME SPEAK TO HER FOR ANY QUESTIONS. ISN`T LIFE FUN!!

I make my own post gym versions of protein shakes. Skimmed milk powder, crushed bran flakes or oats, ground almonds, sugar free angel delight for flavour... obviously add some water.

Works for me, also use as food substitute at festivals
