Hi All,
Hope your all feeling okay, I'm in need of your assistance in understanding what HbA1c relates too? I have only been diagnose with this disease for about 18 mths , but for the first 6 or 7 months I was in denial, (They must of got it wrong) so I didn't do anything I was told, luckely I didn't get into any trouble. But I new something was wrong when I couldn't sit down without falling asleep. So I went back to the Doctor and listened, but since joining this forum I've taken a lot from it in the way of information I can relate too, as there are no big confussing words used, only everyday experiances of people in the same boat as myself, so for this I thank you one and all!!!.

PS: Sorry if this thread was a bit long!

It's well past my bedtime, so this will be very brief! :D

Have a look here for details - HbA1c is the name of a commonly used blood test that will give an average of how your glucose levels have been for the last 2-3 months.
