Readings?

How long should it take to get my readings back to normal after eating and injecting.

Would you like me to move this to Type 1 for you @Moz1959 ?

Can you give a little more detail about when you inject for meals?

Yes please. I didn't realise there was a different area for type 1.
I am getting up to approx 12 readings most days.
I am on 18 lantus at night. I carb count the rest of the time.
My readings stay high till lunch. After 5 hours they can still be 12.
Mostly eat berries and porridge in a morning.
My ratios are 1 to 10. 1 to 3 correction dose.
Many thanks

@Moz1959 If you're sure your basal dose is ok, then you could try advance bolusing for your breakfast - that is, bolusing more in advance of your meal. People are often at their most insulin resistant in the morning so need to bolus further in advance and/or have a different insulin to carb ratio at that time.
