I posted few days ago I have only been taking meds for 2 months and I'm back to being pre diabetic (42 mmol/l) from initial reading of 57.
I woke up feeling very funny thought maybe my sugar is high
It was 3.8 - is that low?
I been getting readings of 4.7- 4.2 in morning before breakfast last two weeks.
I'm on long release Metformin as normal one made my stomach go.

with readings this low, I;m not sure why you think you need the metformin at all to be honest .
3.8 is at the low end of normal, many none diabetics run in the range 3.8 - 4.2 for large parts of their day. If your body isn't used to it, then it might make you feel " funny"
it also possible that the reason you felt funny is because you went a lot lower than 3.8 and you caught the rebound, if you are only taking metformin that may be a bit unlikely though other members who do suffer low blood glucose might have some useful input.
Great job on the progress so far !
