Really Sore Eye

Hi to all,

Hope you all had a great christmas.

I have an infected right eye been using drops since 24th december anti bacterial ones optex but they R not really helping much to say the least massive pain in all my eyeball.
Constantly taking Pain killers dint feel great but still have jobs to do.

Are you able to speak to the doctor or seek advice from maybe pharmacists? (Not sure how much they are able to help with this sort of condition but they may be able to advise?)
 
If it's infected I'd suggest you ring 111 or your surgery (I know they're shut, but there may be an out of hours number to ring). Sounds like you need antibiotic eye drops, not just Optrex.
 
Ring for medical advice. Optex isn't antibiotic. Eye infections can be serious and cause long term damage.

It's also a good idea to get your GP to find out why you are getting abscesses and eye infections recently
 
Hi to all,

Going to gp about another problem and will get my eye looked at as the drops not working at all.
So hopefully will have an answer this morning.
