Really worried! Help

@Emmotha
I'm T2 non insulin so all I can offer is a hug! But it's a big one! Hope you feel better soonx

Meant to add, the burning feet might be because your bloods are high and will most likely go away when you get back under control.

Yep, agreed.. Though i tend to feel it in more my thighs, like i've done a bike ride or a massive run...

But we are all different!

Hello,
I'm ok thank you
I've got my appointment tomorrow. I have a feeling my honeymoon is ending too, because even this insulin, although much better, is not working like it used to. I suspect I'll have to rework my ratios and basal. Pain in the bum!

Thank you for this alert to something I hadn't thought about: since starting LCHF, I'm using far less NovoRapid, and I hadn't considered its shelf life, let alone it's being carried around outside the fridge for too long. I'll look into @smidge's idea of using a permanent frio. Or of binning after 2 weeks.

Thanks all. Where do you buy a thermometer for ur fridge?
My new toy

This has already saved me from potentially frozen insulin. Was reading -2°C when I got back from xmas break, so I had to restock.

Hey emma, just came across this,whats your blood sugar like throughout the day?also what type of basal dose are you on, ie lantus/levimer/pump.my advice too you if it runs that high for a week get in touch with your diaberse clinic.also try to ask why is it so high at night? Ie, too much carbs at dinner/not enough insulin,I recently learned that ots all about the long acting insulin, sort that out and the rest will fall in too place.

Hi,
I've started low carbing again so all is well again
