Well I tried the rolls - they look nothing like the photo, not least because they're a disturbing shade of purple inside!
Taste / texture wise they're not half bad, particularly split in 2 with cheese between
Might explore a different brand of psyllium powder to see if that effects the colour

I'm keen on trying bready things at present, but don't fancy purple! On the link from the site to the original recipe, it suggests coconut flour as alternative. I often find this nicer as better taste (to me) than almond. Don't know about colour though!

No purple colour is a tad off putting although the flavours fine. I bake loads of things with almond flour and havnt had anything purple before so methinks it's the psyllium husk powder to blame, or some Bizzare chemical reaction between the vinegar & baking powder - the mix didn't half fizz!

Yes, may well be the cider vinegar - which is supposed to be wonderful for everything! I found an old book about this once. I use it a lot, but haven't tried it in baking. Perhaps I won't!
I've recently got some psyllium husk and used it in a few things with no problems at all.

AnnieC, if you have any local Asian shops nearby (Indian, Pakistani) they will all sell coconut flour and very cheaply

AnnieC, also you can buy packets of Psyllium husk from Asian shops.
Badcat, thanks for all of the recipes

Hi guys, do you have a recommendation between fresh/tinned coconut milk for the Chia puddings and other coconut milk recipes? TIA x

I got mine from holland and barrett but I know Amazon sell it too
Take close look at the carb content some have much higher carbs per 100g as they are made just ground desiccated coconut. One that contain very low carbs (8,9 carbs per 100 g) is Aman prana, here in UK you would have to order it online from Europe, but if you use coconut flour regularly it's worth it.
