Anyone have/know of a recipe for faggots that doesn't include bread crumbs or white flour?

My family will not eat offal but because I never told them that faggots are traditionally made with liver, heart and kidney etc they will eat them with gusto! Thanks in advance

How about:

or

Dr Google provided those. I haven't tried either.

Never heard of them but it sounds wonderful! I want to try the first one, if only because of the beatiful caul fat. Will have to take a picture to my butcher because google doesn't provide a translation :P
Neithr of the recipes include heart or kidney. @Guzzler , any tips how to include that?

My ol' Mum would put liver, lambs heart, a little kidney and sometimes even a little lung or brawn through an old fashioned mincer then add the mixture to a fatty mince beef or pork add herbs and fashion into balls. The sauce was onion gravy and the smell was glorious.

I just made myself hungry.

That's alright. But you've made me hungry too!

Sorry, lad. It has made me think of the old fasioned meals like oxtail and pigs trotters etc stuff you rarely see outside of a traditional butchers shop or a stall in the market selling Caribean foodstuffs.
