A friend on mine has diabetes but also suffers from other illnesses that affect his mobility, for this reason he can't cook and eats a lot of ready meals.

What I need are some meals I can cook in bulk so I can stock his fridge with real food he can just heat up :)

Thanks for your help!

I make and freeze veggie chilli great with jacket pot and a salad....soup is another food I make and freeze only simple things but that's my cooking level.....but it works

Chicken/Beef casserole is nice, vegetable curry, soups, chilli. Or make some omelettes up and freeze them, he could then add a filling of his choice, tomatoes, cheese or ham.

He sounds very lucky to have a friend like you looking out for him :D

Good luck
Best wishes RRB

I cook meal components instead of complete meals. Mince in portion sized containers (from Ebay), mash in other containers and bulk cooked sausages, curries (rice done on the day though).

Sometimes I buy cooked chicken pieces etc.

Preparing a meal then consists of selecting the frozen meal components and a microwave.

Are they type 1 or 2? Avoid the rice and jacket spud if they are type 2 and use cauliflower mash or make it into rice by processing it a frying it in a bit of butter.
