Red Eye

Hi All

I hope to have my first eye checkup this week. But can I ask if this is a symtom of diabetes: When swimming with my eyes open and when having a hot baths, both eyes go bloodshot. Since starting on 2000mgs metformin they may not have been so bad. Is this damage or a future source of damage.

Do you take aspirin as well? Sometimes small haemorrhages can occur because aspirin thins the blood. Best to check with your doctor.
