The benefits of drinking moderate quantities of red wine is once again in the news.
This article claims it helps to regulate blood glucose. Previous articles have suggested that moderate drinking of red wine can reduce cardio vascular risk by 25%.
I think, referring to the Xmas meat thread, that drinking half a bottle of red wine before eating my Christmas pudding, was responsible for my very reasonable levels afterwards. I agree though that calories need to be considered as well (both in the wine and the pud of course), And I tested my BGs but did not weigh myself!
