refridgerating Toujeo pen, burning

Hi, i keep having a horrid burning when i inject this Toujeou straight from the fridge, i was told to keep the pen i'm using there and the pen for the basal in a drawer, can anyone else confirm this please, i'm getting bruises from the former.

Pens in use can be kept at room temperature, no need for refridgerating!

Hi @Millie_, who told you to keep it in the fridge? I had a look on medicines.org.uk and they say pens must not be stored in the refrigerator after the first use https://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/product/6938/smpc (under 6.3 shelf life)

I have always been told NOT to keep my open insulin in the fridge as it can sting when injecting.

Yep, fridge insulin can sting, it can be kept ambient for upto 28 days of use
At room temperature out of direct sunlight the happier the better.
Never in a car on a hot day, but you can use a frio wallet if your going away to a hot place Vacation on a five star TA rating.
