Regular moderate exercise log

Walked about 3 miles yesterday. A bit less than recently but readings fine this morning so may aim for that.

Another 10k race complete yesterday 1 min slower than the previous week... So a steady day today... But FitBit charged and joining my mates for the workweek challenge!!! So will keep me active all week!
What is the workweek challenge?

It's a challenge you set up on Fitbit amongst friends and who completed the most steps that week gets the bragging rights a bit childish but competitive and definitely a motivator especially if you know the other s hahah

I only walked just over 2 miles yesterday so intend to do a bit more today.

Hello, over an hour walking today. And several stair climbs due to someone messing up at work.

I have managed to walk 5 miles today but feel rather exhausted so not sure if that is too much for me. I know I need to keep up some walking each day.

Do you have a rest day once a week? I think that can help.

Walked about 4 miles yesterday.

I'm averaging about 12k steps a day this week. I'm quite stressed at work so instead of eating rubbish, I'm trying to walk it off. My bs has been quite high too - probably stress related.

That seems a very sensible idea. Hopefully the walking will also help with the stress which from my experience does affect blood sugar levels.

I'm off work today so I'm planning on a nice long walk this morning. I'm trying to get used to walking with a backpack carrying a couple of kilos. I have this long term dream of walking the Camino de Santiago and all the advice is to start wearing a backpack early on to get used to it!

I'm slacking again. Need to wrap up and go out in the miserable weather.

Gym on Wed, Thursday 40min walk and Fri gym followed by a hypo. Can I ask mdi people for tips? I'd had porridge for breaking and only used half my usual insulin. Any ideas on what else I can do?

No moderate exercise this week unless you count walking round airports, actually, yoga on Monday, almost forgot.

@Diakat how much did you reduce the bolus by? If I were exercising within a couple of hours of the bolus I'd reduce by 50%, or possibly more. Still do that even on the pump. Only way to find out what works for you is by personal experiment. You may also find that you need to reduce the bolus at the next meal depending how close it is.

Some people can take it as low as NO bolus at the meal before exercise.
I did go out and walk today. About an hour and a half. The rain paused and the walk did wonders for my blood sugars.
