[QUOTE="Goonergal, post: 2349237, member: 368709"] Have enjoyed a few longish walks over the festive period. On Christmas Eve Eve had an 8.2 mile round trip to pick up an order of Keto cakes. Went the scenic route, which involved a round trip to Canary Wharf and back. A glorious sunny day on Christmas Eve led to a 9.4 mile wander along the Thames Path, over the river using the Emirates cable car and finally the DLR home. On the day itself went much further than expected (14 miles) largely because a stunning morning sky got me out early and having crossed the river in Greenwich, and no transport options available, trundled all the way to Tower Bridge, over and back home all before lunch. Was pleased to have done much of the prep the day before. Day off on Boxing Day. 27th saw a 5 waterway trip (10.3 miles) - circular route via the Thames, Limehouse Cut, river Lea, Hertford Union Canal and the Regent’s Canal. Freezing cold but very enjoyable. Yesterday stuck to Greenwich and surrounds - 6.7 miles and today has ended up as a rest day as some personal administrative tasks took up most of the daylight hours.
