Where and how we find people who understand us I have no idea.
Someone who understands me ....

Are you maybe too needy?
What about the other persons needs?
Maybe I'm to blunt to be of any use in the dating industry I don't know but I've been married a long time and she still doesn't understand me!
You know what ... it makes it more interesting that way cos after all this time we're still learning about each other but but but ... you sure you posted your question on the right site?

Maybe you could try complimenting something about the person you like? (Just a suggestion if your friends are saying you put people down)

Have you tried a dating website where you can match your interests and personality to someone?

No 1 this wasn't posted by me - just my ignorant friend who thinks everything is a joke I just joined so I don't know how to delete this post - apparently I wan been too secretive and wasn't including her so this was payback - as I said on my other post no one understands my friends think everything is a joke

Oh dear that's mean :-(

Hope you manage how to delete it. Sorry I can't help as I don't have a clue how to get rid of it!

I'm guessing your a teenager and your having a bit of a larfff! 8)

I just changed it to say friends at the moment I feel like slapping mine :( - I get when people hack their friends Facebook (I actually don't get it) but this was really personal - it's the first place I've found where I can talk about my diabetes my highs and low without everyone saying I'm been a downer - so angry right now fuming

If they accessed this on your phone then can you add a pin code to it? Or on your computer then maybe add a password?

It's a good place to talk about how you feel as people here understand and it must be hard for people who don't have diabetes to comprehend what we go through and feel like, so don't avoid coming here because of a friend being silly.

There's having a laugh and there's taking it too far. In your case it is the latter. Living with diabetes is a very personal thing to deal with and a true friend would recognise that and be supportive.

I hope your friend has apologised for their mistake and if they were sincere, that you can forgive them and move forward with more understanding between you both.

Don't let this incident prevent you from continuing to be active on this extremely useful website and forum.

You could always get in touch with a moderator - via the exclamation mark in the triangle top right corner of your original post - and ask them to help you. I would have your friend read the replies you've had first though.

Hope you've recovered now. All the best.
Thank you I have recommended the site to her and the others and told them they can join even though they aren't diabetic - this will give them more information

You need new friends! :/

Don't worry, if you really want in deleted, I'm sure one of the moderators will do it for you. - Anna tidied mine up after I accidentally sent the same post 3 times!
