Hi @Omar51 have a look at this link: https://medlineplus.gov/lab-tests/c...eatinine test is used, and systems in the body.
Are you Type 1 ?
The first mention of kidney malfunction for me was in 1973, but it may have started even before that. Over the years I was put on progressively sophisticated drugs which meant my kidneys kept going for 40 years before I had a transplant. Had the treatment been more sophisticated then, and had I not waited till 1979 before taking responsibility for my health, my kidneys could well have lasted even longer. The key thing is good blood glucose control. Good luck.

Mr Grant your remarks are helpful. I am pre diabetic and don’t take medicine and control BG with diet.

My recent A1c came in few days ago.
Last HbA1c 5.6=38 (6 months ago)
Missed A1c (3 months ago) traveling, it was going to be high anyway.

Today got tested and got results 5.6=38

My test results are in non diabetic range, of course I am still pre diabetic.

My Creatinine and eGFR results are in range.

I have appointments with Nephrologist and my dietitian in 2 weeks. will still check that recommended website.

Just looked at the Creatinine link, very useful link, will read thoroughly.
I have been doing Creatinine test for about 10 years.

Thanks a lot for your help and useful info
