Replacing pump

Using medtronic 780g and G4

Have been sent my replacement pump due to the inevitable crack (but still working).

Does my new pump still have to 'learn' me for 48hrs or so before I can switch smart guard on?
 
Despite it feeling like a setback, I went through the ‘learning’ process with my replacement pump last year.
Afterwards it all seemed to work the same as before.

Assuming you don’t need any changes, it’s important to make sure you enter the same settings.
