I don't really touch caffeine anyway as it gives me a headache. I had avoided the doctor as I felt silly but it's becoming a burden now - I even sit/lie and watch a movie with my partner and now that I've caused myself pain I've realised enough is enough, it's driving me nuts!Hi,@caity.x . The only small tip I can give is avoid caffeine. I stopped drinking coffee etc; 5 hours before bedtime and it did help a lot.
Have you asked your Doctor for advice.
Hope you get a few more tips and the best of luck.
I need something, I just want some relief. That horrible feeling like an itch right in the bone makes me feel sick! I'd love to be able to just sit and relax, or go to bed and not fight with my legs. Fingers crossed something can fix me!Hello, sorry to hear you have RLS, I have it too. I have had it for a few years now and on tablets. Ropinirole x 2, 1 hour before bed and then ( because it got so bad during the day) I take 1 1/2, tablets late afternoon. I honestly couldn't do with out this medication. I tried a few home remedies( one was soap at the end of the bed !!)but nothing worked at all and I am an active person.
Please dont suffer from this horrible condition, go to your GP as there is help available. Probably you will have a blood test to see if you are low in iron, if so, iron tablets are usually given, but It didn't help my RLS,
All the best and good luck, please get some help, take care.

Read in a magazine to use Parmolive soap .
Place at foot of bed .
Why ? only or just parmolive soap ?
A lady swore by this for her RLS .
She said both Lux and Pears soaps didn't do the trick .That's what I tried anna, the green Palmolive soap, and no it didn't work ;-(

Only the Parmolive worked !
At least the feet (toots) are sure to smell lovely with this one
Only in bed at night my legs can feel achey and I need to keep
stretching them to relieve the aches or pains .
Is this RLS ?
RRB - you boogie or dancing in your bed ?
Feet and arms going together .
(picture in my mind of you)
No ants in pyjama legs or irish dancing or jigs with me 'yet'
Only achey legs that I do use GP prescribed Quinine meds with .
What does the meds you use and take do to help you with your RLS ?
No drowsiness with these ?
they are also saying it could be chronic stuff like diabetes as the cause

it seems when you are going to sleep, your brain shuts the nervous system down to stop movement

but it can also go too far and get sleep paralysis

I started with the RLS and went for a google link tour of the other stuff, there is a lot to it, all of it no goodDo not like the 3rd one Jack, and RLS is more common in females
