Just got the result from the lab. exam made january 5...

FBG 86 mg/dL 4.0 mmol/l
HbA1c HbA1c % 4.9 % 30 mmol/mol ( HPLC )
Cholesterol 115 mg/dL
HDL 55 mg/dL

They aren't bad - low carbing and metformin are working, I suppose.

I'll think I'll ask the GP if I could stop statins....

Your blood glucose results are stupendous. Well done. I have no idea about your cholesterol - they are different units from the UK ones. :)

Well done on your HbA1c results @MikeTurin - great figures! :)
I don't know what those cholesterol figures mean too.

Ok. Just found an online calculator the conversion in mmol/l is 3 mmol/l for total cholesterol and 1.4 mmol/l dor HDL one.
Next weel I think I'll go to my GP to ask if with this values I could stop to take statins...

Thanks for the conversion

Total cholesterol of 3 is a lot lower than I would like to be. The standard range in the UK is 3 to 5.
The HDL is also a bit low but just within the standard of 1.2 to 3.5. The higher the better.
