Apologies for another post but my BG levels appear "all over the place". This morning I get an HbA1c at 43 (good); am told I don't (really) need to self test BG, but I insist and these are the results :-
10.9 after a small sandwich at lunch
5.6 six hrs later before dinner
12.1 two hrs after a small (measured carbs dinner)

So I swing from 5.6 to 12.1....

Thoughts?

Let's see whether we have a dawn high....

Great isn't it!
As another poster put it

Welcome to the wonders of diabetes.

Give yourself a while for a definitive average can be determined.

I use a diabetes app on the ipad and an iBGStar meter...this is good for working out my averages.
