Results of HA1C

Can I ask how you reduced it please ?
I was diagnosed last week ..my hba1c was only about 50 (6.9) and i have 3 months to get it below 5 by diet alone
Have reduced carbs and started eating breakfast
Have you any other tips ?

Below 5 sounds like a tough target to me. My 3 month review reading was 5.6 and that was low enough for my DSN to say she was happy and didn't need to see me for another nine months. I'm hoping to be around 5.3 or so when next tested in April/May and that's been hard enough.
