retinal eye screening

That's good, did they not use eye drops?

Glad you attended and even happier that there is no deterioration.

I hate going but always force myself to. I have had an eye problem since I was a kid and spend many a day of my childhood in the local eye hospital having similar drops put in my eyes so the consultants could try and see what was wrong (they have never worked it out). When I was a child the pain of the drops and the subsequent photophobia seemed horrendous and at that age I couldn't understand why they were doing it.
