IRMA = Intraretinal microvascular abnormalities
Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion (
BRVO) is a blockage of one of the veins in the retina at the back of the eye. It can cause macular oedema, which is swelling of the central part of the retina with loss of vision.
M0 : No Exudate within a radius of half a disc diameter of the centre on the fovea
P0 : No Photocoagulation scars
R2 : Preproliferative diabetic retinopathy : Any of the following
Multiple blot haemorrhages of density in any area more severe than NSC standard photo 1
Venous beading
Venous loop or reduplication
IRMA
Cotton wool spots are not diagnostic of R2, but should promote a careful search for other lesions.
IOP: Intraocular pressure (pressure in eye) Normally 15.5 +- 2.5mmHg
OCT of macula : they want to scan for thickening of the macula next time
Looks like there is some retinopathy but not enough to warrant further treatment, however they wnt to keep an eye on it! (Sorry about the pun!)
