Hi
I am planning my retirement in the next 2 years and have been told that Type 1 diabetics can get a better annuity return on their pension fund because of health reasons ?
Would anyone know what sort of increase (from standard) this may be and is there any companies out there who specialize in this sort of thing.

i retired just over a year ago and through my financial adviser am doing good using SIPP's

whatever you do -- don't just retire and not investigate your options to move your money where it will do the best for you.

I was offered about 11% premium to standard on a couple of small pension policies but SIPP beat these easily.
