HiEveryone is different some people heal faster than others, and there are more factors to healing in general than bg control alone
Age,diet,exercise,sleep all play a part
The only way you will know is when you get the tests done
Mine was picked up about eighteen months ago and nobody mentioned it could be reversed.Hi
I have also had it picked up on a test and was unaware that it could be reversed. Is this possible?

Hi, I have been having injections in both my eyes for diabetic macular oedema, I’m sorry to say that I don’t think there are any alternatives. I believe it is important to have the injections done to stop the condition from getting worse, sometimes I can see a definite improvement in my sight for a while afterwards, I go to the clinic every 6-8 weeks and sometimes there is no leakage so no injections needed at that time, but I have been told it will never be completely cured.Slightly off from the question asked, to which I don't know the answer save as posted already, I am just being recommended for an injection into my R eye for macular oedema. What are the pros and cons ? Is there an alternative?
Thanks in advance for any replies
A similar story here.I use Lutein Zeaxanthin. This was recommended to a friend for her age related maculopathy by her consultant. As I had been told I had some spots of diabetic maculopathy, I thought it worth a try. At my next clinic they had disappeared.
