I saw some 'Ribena No added sugar' in the supermarket and noted its nutritional values:

250ml (after dilution) gives us:

Calories: 10 (1%)
Sugars: 1.39g (1%)
Fat: 0%
Saturates: 0%
Salt: <1% (Trace)

Do you think it is safe to drink?

probably OK!

Hi PP,

I assume the no-sugar is the same as the light version, if so I can't see any harm in using this product, and as it quite is concentrated just try using a small amount each time. Like most other squash drinks, it has a long-list of ingredients, so the choice is yours, here is the product information from the Ribena website:

Yer that would be ok Watch out for "No Added Sugar" fizzy drinks though as it means "none has been added" so there will some some in there naturally.

Well, 1.3g of sugar won't make a noticable difference to your blood sugar, if that's what you mean by safe. As for whatever else they put into squash, that's a matter of personal judgement
