I saw some 'Ribena No added sugar' in the supermarket and noted its nutritional values:

250ml (after dilution) gives us:

Calories: 10 (1%)
Sugars: 1.39g (1%)
Fat: 0%
Saturates: 0%
Salt: <1% (Trace)

Do you think it is safe to drink?

Hi PP,

I assume the no-sugar is the same as the light version, if so I can't see any harm in using this product, and as it quite is concentrated just try using a small amount each time. Like most other squash drinks, it has a long-list of ingredients, so the choice is yours, here is the product information from the Ribena website:

Yer that would be ok :) Watch out for "No Added Sugar" fizzy drinks though as it means "none has been added" so there will some some in there naturally.

Well, 1.3g of sugar won't make a noticable difference to your blood sugar, if that's what you mean by safe. As for whatever else they put into squash, that's a matter of personal judgement :-)
