RIP Dr Sarah Hallberg

Her TED talk was the first video I watched when diagnosed with diabetes.
she gave me hope that all is not lost and I could actually take control without medication.
A very brave lady to disagree with the standard treatment and diet advice.
Sad news, we owe her so much.

I really was very sad to read of Dr Sarah's passing this morning. Too you, and with too much still to do and give.

Rest easy Sarah.

She got such a lot done changing the paradigm for type 2 remission with her research and Virta Health and I heard her on a podcast quite recently. I know she had young kids so it is very sad to hear that she has gone.

So very sad. I listened and watched many podcasts and videos of hers and I can honestly say she’s had a positive impact on my health despite having never met her and living half a world away. She will me missed by many but we won’t forget her contributions or fighting spirit.

Its very sad news she had been battling lung cancer for quite a while sadly she lost the battle. I followed her on twitter she was so passionate about helping people with diabetes.
