Rise in bs

Good morning
I have a quick question
if I test my bs before a meal and when I test it 2 hrs after and it is 7 or under does it matter what it rises to within the 2 hr period?

I'd still test at one hour just to see how high you go. But it is up to you though if you're dropping back to what are good figures, I can't imagine they'd be that high
