Yerp just a bit. But I am getting there.
 
Then I know EXACTLY how you feel Laine71 .. as you do with myself. A lot of people just don't understand it, and get annoyed that you won't ring them (such as for appointments) but it's a real issue xx
I find myself pacing up and down trying to calm down and the person on the other end of the phone must wonder what the hell is going on as all they can hear is me heavy breathing and nothing else. I have had people disconnect me before. Probably thinking I am a perve lol
 
Laine71 you need to tell them that you have a severe phone anxiety.
I wrote to my new GP Practice Manager only the other day about it, and she has noted in my records not to ring me, but to write or email instead. Friends already know to text, rather than ring if they wish to contact me. It's just businesses really that won't comply.
