Thank you for asking, I came out of hospital on Thursday. As far as I know the Op went well no problems and I didn't need any painkillers at all ,it was tender and uncomfortable, but not to bad. Nurses very nice, had a laugh with some of them especially the night time staff ,one had type 2 and the other had the symptoms of Restless leg Syndrome and I showed her my medication as I have RLS as well and she wrote it down.
I Had a gas bubble injected( 80%) laser and a Vitrectomy. 11 eye drops per day for 28 days and 2 tablets for pressure in eye for a week. I can't see out of the eye yet, it was said it would be blurry afterwards, but it's probably because the gas bubble is covering my vision, it should gradually disappear in about 6 to 8 weeks and I'm to go back for a check up in 2 weeks time.
So glad its all over with now and I can be back to normally and be with my daughter and the cats
