Hi,
Yesterday (14th Aug) we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary, so my usual range of meals available to me were replaced by, shall I say, 'different foods'...
We went out on Saturday evening and each had a 3-course meal + wine...
Then yesterday we had a 'buffet on the go' at home for family/friends and I was 'picking' at that for most of the afternoon, followed by some trifle/ cream X 2 and two pieces of cake,(with icing)...
Right, here are the results...
Late last night I tested my Bg and the result was 9.7 (not too bad, considering)......
My Fasting test this morning was 4.9 ( which, surprisingly, is below my 'average' reading)
Today (Monday), my food intake has also been 'different' (snacks on the go) and I've just tested and it's 10.9
I'm still on 'Diet only' and usually my readings are much lower than the situation explained above...
However, maybe this weekend HAS been a one-off?
I'm expecting to have more 'normal / average' readings later in the week, when my diet returns to 'normal'.
Regards...
