Salt - interesting article by Jason Fung

That's not the first time I've seen the salt myth debunked. There is various research about salt, blood pressure and the lack of effects of increased salt intake.
 
Thanks for this! Jason Fung writes very well and it's got all the more impact given he is a kidney specialist. I think Gary Taubes has also debunked the idea that salt always leads to high blood pressure (perhaps it does for those who are salt sensitive but again it is a case of 1 size fits all advice. Salt is a proxy for eating processed food. As with all nutritional studies it is hard to prove the impact of a single mineral with so many confounding ingredients in our modern diet. For now I've got a big pack of pink himalyan to get through!
